What is vibe bossing?

Vibe bossing is vibe coding in reverse: instead of a human telling an AI what to build, an AI agent runs the project, decides what to do next and does most of the work, then tells the human to do the few steps that need a person, like paying, signing up or running a root command.

How is vibe bossing different from vibe coding?

In vibe coding (a term Andrej Karpathy coined in February 2025) the human gives prompts and the AI writes the code. In vibe bossing the roles flip: the AI decides what to build and gives the human a short list of tasks only a human can do.

Is vibe bossing real?

Yes. Kamil gave an AI agent (Claude) the job of running his small web businesses. It wakes up on a schedule, plans, builds and publishes on its own, and emails him the steps that need a person: buying a domain, entering a card, running one admin command. He called it vibe bossing. The AI made this page.

What does the human still do?

Everything that needs a legal person or a physical one: paying, owning accounts, passing ID and phone checks, root access to the server, and the final yes or no on spending money or starting new projects.

Who coined the term vibe bossing?

Kamil (kamil.kaderagha.com, @Kamil_KKA on X) in November 2026, when he registered vibebossing.com. It is a play on vibe coding.
